Curriculum

Your child's day will be carefully and thoughtfully planned to provide activities which are well balanced. The variety and diversity of activities and experiences we provide are prepared appropriately to each child within every age group. One of our greatest strengths is that by the time breakfast is cleared away, your child could be cooking, painting, creating and exploring the great outdoors – whatever the weather!

Parental involvement in all aspects of your child’s learning is welcome.

At Kinder Nurseries, we follow the nationally recognised ‘Birth To Three Matters’ framework and ‘Foundation Stage’ curriculum to ensure every child receives the best possible support and start to their learning in a stimulating and caring environment!

Every child matters!

 

Children aged 0-3 years follow the ‘Birth To Three Matters’ framework which focuses on the child. This framework moves away from subject specific areas of experience and distinct curriculum, celebrating instead the skill and competence of very young children as they grow, learn and develop within their immediate and wider environments.

Children aged 3-5 years follow the ‘Early years Foundation Stage’ curriculum. At its heart, the aim of the EYFS is to meet the five outcomes from 'Every Child Matters'. The Foundation Stage curriculum is divided into six areas of learning.

Within our curriculum, we specifically cater for a rich and diverse set of activities, experiences and themes, aimed at enabling children to embrace knowledge at their own pace.

Your child’s smooth progression through each age group is of paramount importance to us. Change is made when your child is ready, after discussion with you and you are happy. Any change is introduced gently and sensitively.
